Preparing for school is a milestone for both, parents and children. We aim to guide children to better their strengths and tackle their weaknesses before they embark on their primary school journey. We implement the British curriculum which prepares students for school entry exams, Cambridge primary and year one for local schools.

ENGLISH

Our English syllabus cover reading, writing, listening, and communication skills. Students are exposed to sound blends, recognition of sight words, application of reading strategies, vocabulary, grammar, comprehension, reading aloud with fluency, story time with teacher and library time for students to borrow books.

MATH

Children have fun with numbers and learn the fundamentals of mathematics such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, money, height, weight and more.

SCIENCE

ESOLjr's science programme covers a whole lot of fun experiments and concepts. Children learn about their surroundings and how things work .It gives them the opportunity to explore and expand on their knowledge and thinking skills.

ART

Art and craft is an activity most children enjoy participating in. Our aim is to allow children to explore and enhance their creativity while having fun. Art and craft helps improve fine motor skills and hand to eye co-ordination.

MUSIC & MOVEMENT

Music is not just an "extra" at ESOLjr. Listening to music, moving to music and playing instruments provide learning opportunities and make children feel good. We always look for creative ways to include music in our programmes for children of all ages.

LIVING SKILLS

Mastering any kind of living skill takes time and experience. Living skills need to be introduced and then consistently encouraged and taught. At ESOLjr we educate children on real life situations such as road safety, personal hygiene, daily chores and more.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITY

Physical activities are carried out during gym and constructive play where children work on their gross motor skills, learn to take turns, maintain self discipline and respect one another.
